Tomorrow is Christmas Eve — which is pretty much my favorite day of the year. And I am in fine spirits!
A couple of days ago I hit a low when I realized I was fabulously behind on everything, had alienated several members of my family by what was either an unfortunate misunderstanding or a case of appalling thoughtlessness (depending on what view one took of the situation), and suspected that I had done permanent damage to my wrist writing Christmas cards (and I was still fabulously behind on those)
As of today, I have finished my cards, reconciled with the family, and wisely decided to give Gwen her knitted toy at our second gift-opening occasion (Dec. 29th — after Geoff returns from London) so that I do not have to knit little points double-pointed needles all through the night.
I am still fabulously behind on my wrapping — so I will cheerfully wish everyone a Merry Christmas and take myself off to the Land of Tape and Ribbon!
Joy To The World!
