I finished knitting all the llama parts!  They are separate pieces and look a lot like un-inflated balloons, but they are done.  I plan to sew them together tomorrow — and stuff him with bamboo fiber filling.  And then comes the tricky part: embroidering the face.  Wish me luck on that!  A slip of the needle and the llama's personality changes entirely!

Other knitting projects are progressing — aside from the llama and the duck, there are 6.  Yeah.  But, truly, I expect to finish some of them.  They are sooooo close!

I finished my Christmas cards today — about 100 or so (with notes in each).  And tomorrow I had better get serious about wrapping.  Fortunately, I am not really on the family baking committee (Thanks, George and Sasha!!).

Oh, and Sarah wanted me to mention that tonight we made a Christmas stocking for Sasha's cat, Samson (who is visiting for the Holidays — and, yes, that means some extra excitement for our 4 old lady cats — wait, that came out wrong! I just meant that there is a lot of hissing and grrring and dashing about going on…).  Sarah and Sasha actually did most of the work.  I provided materials and supervised the cats.
