I finished the Llama this evening!  He looks fabulous — really, I am totally delighted with how he turned out.  Considering I have little experience in improvising 3-dimensional knitted pieces (and this one is based on a 2-dimensional illustration), I captured the look quite satisfactorily.  There will be photos after Christmas.

I completed another gift and am sooooo close to being done with one more, too. 

I realized that I will not complete the gift I am making for a dear friend — and fortunately she is as gracious as she is dear — in time to deliver it tomorrow, but hope she will find it to be worth the wait.  Again, it is sooo close — sigh.  But I giving it to her late means an excuse to meet for coffee over the Holidays!

I will be starting (and, hopefully, finishing!) the Duck on Christmas Eve — as I kind of predicted.  It looks fairly straightforward.  And I will have to do a lot of wrapping, too, as I was in "craft" mode today. There was glue and embroidery floss and felt involved!
