It is snowing – really snowing!  Inches and inches of snow!  I feel as if I have been  transported to some Scandinavian Fairy Land!

And the absolute kicker is:  I have nothing more pressing to do this afternoon than sit in my cozy house with the snow falling all around and swatch up a shawl with lace-weight Isager Wool 1 (in 4 neutral-ish colors – very Scandinavian!).  I am planning to use an Estonian twig lace stitch pattern – and there are going to be silk/mohair accents. 

Pure enchantment – there is no other explanation!
