So, I Iay in bed this morning thinking, hmm, what should I knit today?
I decided to focus on some of my active projects that have been languishing a bit — those that have sat untouched in my knitting bags for a week or so. I know, I really have too many projects going at the moment — but the only way to take care of that is to finish something! So, I have been working on a select few projects — with the aim of finishing something — and letting the others sort of languish.
The problem with languishing projects is that they need a lot of thought and fluffing and fussing to get going again if I let them languish too long. So, I thought, why not spend a little time with each of the languishers and keep them fresh in my mind. So, I planned an afternoon of knitting lace on the deck in the sun.
And then I thought, EGGLPLANT!!
I had totally forgotten that I was supposed to be knitting an eggplant for my grandson Max's class. Good gracious!
So, I guess I will be knitting an eggplant on the deck in the sun. Makes me feel kind of like a plant myself.
