Well, I have been soooo busy knitting that I have not had time to blog at all this past week.

Ha, ha, ha!  Not really.  Been too busy with summer to knit (much) or blog (at all).  Camping over the weekend, badminton in the front yard, visiting my parents, celebrating our anniversary (30 yrs!), and someone taught me how to play Dr. Mario on our vintage Nintendo (which the kids set up in the living room on our big TV screen).

So, all that knitting-to-be-done-before-The-Beach is mostly in the still-to-be-done stage.  But I have not given up hope!

I figure if, on a daily basis for the next 5 days I knit:

 10 rounds on my tam

2 inches of the lace panel for my Butterfly Q’mitl

4 inches of sleeve for my Otter Rock Sweater

3 repeats of the lace edging for the Gull Pi Shawl

1 butterfly for the Q’mitl

I should be in pretty good shape – as long as I get myself to sew the Tea Leaf Jacket sleeves and buttons on and get the Butterfly Q’mitl blocked and sewn together so I can knit the edging onto that.

And if I limit my Dr. Mario playing and my contribution to household maintenance to the absolute minimum.  And if I do not start reading the next book in that fabulous Lady Julia Grey mystery series that has us all bewitched.  And if I can ignore the petulant whimperings of the projects that did not make the cut for before-The-Beach.

Well, there are a few ifs there.

But I will keep you posted on my progress.
