Okay, I had to get a few photos of the Butterfly Q'mitl — these show what it looks like when I am not flapping my arms like an albotross.

I think you can see the patterns of the variegated blue section better too. 

I have worn the piece a few times now and it certainly draws comments — especially when they notice that the "scallops" are really butterflies!  The butterflies, the black edging (which is made from a rayon yarn that pops up and stands on its own), and even the lace must cry out to be handled too — because that is what has been happening.  I don't really blame the ladies — I love the feel of the yarn and the little fat butterfly bodies too!
