The past 10 days I have been plotting Christmas knitting projects, firming up family Thanksgiving plans, and setting up a haunted house…the annual convergence zone of holidays!

However, I did manage to complete and photograph my socks — I am calling them my Bonfire Socks because they are bright and retro and the leaf pattern — tho autumnal — is a bit flame-like too.

Yea! New socks!

Now, I am making some hard decisions about which projects to hibernate until after Christmas.  Maybe King Tut? Probably my Pineapple Bag..And likely my Leaves of Grass lace shawl.

I HAVE to get a couple of promised projects done before the Christmas knitting is in full swing too.  Sonja's alpaca blanket, for one.  Owen's wool blanket.  Owen's pants (that go with the sweater — before he outgrows them both!).

Okay, back to the needles!
