Greetings from Planet Christmas!

I am only a little bit behind where I was hoping I would be by now as regards the Christmas knitting (this evaluation is based on revised Schedules of Accomplishment which magically revise themselves in my head on a pretty much daily basis — i.e. the Grand Plan went out the window a couple of weeks ago!). 

Well, I have a quiet day at home today and am looking forward to making good progress.  On the knitting as well as on less-yarn-related holiday preparations (such as encouraging George to clean the kitchen and start baking!).

The Extensive Sewing Project was completed in the ta-da nick of time — and all our packages that need to be sent have been sent.  Huzzah!  And a tremendous thanks to Sarah for above & beyond the call of duty on that! 

The Knitting Projects that needed to be mailed off have been completed and sent off almost as scheduled (thank you UPS for letting us pay a little extra for expedited shipping!)

(I seem to be ending every paranthetical comment with an "!" doesn't it? And I haven't even had a double latte yet today!!)
