1) am working the edging on the Leaves of Grass pi shawl — it is knit directly onto the circular edge (live stitches) — 72 points (16 rows per point!)
2) Am working on 2 garment designs in my head (as I cannot take on any more actual knitting until I actually finish a few projects) — a rather prissy q’mitl and an everyday cardigan (Brown Sheep Cotton Fine 80% cotton/20% merino in Oriental Jade) that might need to be done in an all-over lace pattern instead of plain stockinette after all (oh dear)
3) had middle of the night panic over the size of the Nordic baby vest (staring into the dark muttering “too small, too small”), but upon measuring and doing a bit of research into industry standards this morning, I decided it would be just fine. Whew!
4) have worked out a management system for the Inversion Cardigan’s 5 active balls of yarn — involving cereal bowls and a certain amount of consistent maneuvering on my part, as well as the necessity of covering it all with a laundry basket when I am gone so the cats don’t assist with the knitting!
5) and I seem to have downloaded an armadillo pattern.
