I am up to my ears in baby knitting these days! 

Finished projects:

The Jacket and Booties from Knit One Knit All done in Frog Tree Ewetopia yarn — for my niece Emilia's baby (due in August)

Matching hat knit by Sarah (same yarn — using her own basic garter hat pattern)

Baby Island Blanket — based on the Hexagonal Hoodie from Welcoming Home Baby — using a variety of stash yarn, mostly wool (I call it an Island Blanket because you can lay the baby on it like it is her own little island!)  This is for my nephew JJ's baby girl Remy — just born yesterday!  Welcome, Remy!

I am chugging away at Nordic (the vest and — hopefully — hat) which are supposed to be given to Jessica at her baby shower at the end of the month…..

And Sasha commissioned a baby sweater from me — for her husband's boss's baby.  So, I am designing a new kimono style which I am pretty excited about!  It is in soft greens and features leaf motifs….

Sarah found out that her baby — due Nov. 1st — is a little girl!  And I have a whole lot of lovely hot pink yarn from Staci's stash for her "Yzma Blanket" (since to my grandkids I am "Yzma" that is what we call the special blankets I make for each one).  Am thinking about stitch patterns for that — maybe making a border within a border and then the center section in a knit-purl texture….
