Well, almost. I refer, of course, to the Christmas Knitting! I ordered the yarn yesterday — and now I am in a race to finish my Autumn Knitting before the Christmas yarn arrives. As I am very, very nearly done with both the Caramel Cardigan and the Artesian Shawl, this is a reasonable goal. For once!
(For our purposes, we will consider the Color Block Puzzle Box Sweater, the Toe-Up 2-at-a-time Socks, and the Sequence Knitting Hat as On-Going Knitting rather than Autumn Knitting…)
Even my Christmas Knitting (about which I cannot give details — for obvious reasons) is, I think, quite manageable. A few small lovely pieces.
And then into all this sanity flies an Owl! More precisely, a Barn Owl Shawl. It quite took possession of my brain and suddenly here I am with 4 skeins of yarn (from my stash) and a list of feathery lace patterns….
