When I saw this Bella Lino linen-blend, I had a sudden vision: something summery, beachy, ocean-y, cool, lacy but not fussy to go over tank tops … oooo, and with a punch of color (hence the brilliant yellow Pure Linen from Rowan).  

But, of course, the vision doesn't knit itself!  There is a certain amount of searching and swatching, plotting and planning, measuring and math-ing.  And then I cast on 148 stitches and go!  And when it all comes together and there is the vision made real and hanging off my needles, well, that is a beautiful, beautiful thing!
