I wore both my Spring Cowl and my Racoon Mitts on Easter!
(I hope, someday, to figure out how to make my photos show up vertically here!)
I appreciate the cowl's warmth and am ridiculously delighted with the mitts. They make people smile. (Okay, they make some family members cringe, but that was not my intention…really). They are fun and a bit sassy. I have received some very nice compliments on the cowl — people like to touch it, interestingly enough. I think it is the puffy bits that entice them.
And now that Spring Knitting is done (except for the Ridiculously Happy Socks…), I am moving on to the Summer Knitting. Mostly linen and lace — tho with some cotton thrown in. Nothing fussy, tho. The colors are bold — or shades of black! And I am particularly excited about a summery poncho on my design table — solid color blocks with clean, bold accents inspired by Britt-Marie Christoffersson's Pop Knitting. I also have a Mariners shawlette on the needles! True to the Blue!
