Okay, not like Midwest snow.  Not like Canada snow or Massachusetts snow.  Puget Sound snow.  A couple of powdery inches that transforms everything!  And it inspired me to finish my Goblin mitts and my Alpaca slip-stitch hat (to match the one I knit George for Christmas).

So, yesterday morning during our 7-hour power outage, I sat by the fire wrapped in wooly shawls weaving in yarn ends on both projects.  Then, I wore the Goblin mitts πŸ™‚ With temperatures in the 20s β€” and predicted to stay below freezing all week β€” it seems like a good time to knit 3-in-1 Button Boots by Bekah Knits.  Cozy, cozy!

Okay those complimentary but not exactly matching hats are adorable…as the two dear ones wearing them!
