Welcome to Fall in the Pacific Northwest! Rain has been pounding down all day and it has never really gotten light — The first time this season when day started to break in the morning and then just didn’t quite do so. If there were wind, I would consider it an autumn storm, but it seems to be just an onslaught of rain without the drama of a storm. Tho the marathon rain is pretty impressive — and there is the promise of mellow, mushy days to follow once it has “rained itself out” (as I like to say). In about a week, I believe — tho we will probably have some gray drippy days before we see blue sky again. Unless we get some of those sudden breaks with a swift desertion of clouds and a momentary triumph of blue sky!
Anyhow, it is ideal knitting weather. And, apparently (being a Friday and I always get playful on Fridays!) a good day for artsy photos of in-progress Autumn projects.
