We have been getting good use of our Winter knits!  Nothing like wool when the wind has an icy bite like it did the other day when we were out on our walk.   I had just finished the color-block tasseled hat I had designed to go with the Jimmy Beans “Witchful Thinking Cowl & Mitts” that I had knit in October.  There was so much fun leftover yarn!  The hat is rectangular, but drapes perfectly over the head with the weight of the cheerful, fat tassels.  It is light-weight, warm, and fun to wear — especially when the tassels bob and dance in the icy wind 🙂  It has a Scandinavian look that I love.
