I have hopped the Internet Express and have landed on a new blog platform!

Hello WordPress!

Sarah is helping me “swatch” this new blog site — and there is a lot to tinker with, so I am grateful for her tech-savvy-ness (and patience!).  Fall is a terrific time to start something new. I get that back-to-school feeling and am freshly energized after the summer hummmmmmm.

Speaking of starting new knitting projects….ahem…I am looking forward to digging my needles into “Slipped My Mind” designed by Sue Fisher — a cozy slip-stitch shawl.  The kit was offered by Makers’ Mercantile with Hikoo Madrona DK yarn.  I chose sunset (or sunrise — depending on your perspective) colorway:  rose, violet, carnelian, gold, ivory.  The slip-stitch patterns look rather like plaids which call to mind chilly morning soccer games and evenings around a fire pit 🙂
