So, Pelagia Fiber Arts is starting the New Year strong – and
in full swing! We have 2 classes set to
go this month (a Novice/Refresher class and a Layette workshop) and 2 more in
the works for later this winter (a Mother-Daughter Novice/Refresher class and a
Sweater workshop). And we are preparing for the 3 “Mini” classes we will be teaching
at Madrona Fiber Arts Winter Retreat in February (a Ribbings class, a Lace and
Texture class, a Cable Coffee Cuff class).
And we have 3 commissioned
pieces in various stages of production. And we plan to have several more
patterns for sale on Etsy and Ravelry this winter.
I am pretty pumped about it all! Our knitting business in certainly
blossoming!
It also means that I have more hovering UFOs than War of the Worlds – but I am okay with
that. Most of them are in the “nearly
done” stage, so I keep telling myself that I will get to start some fresh
projects soon. That is the best carrot I know!
(okay, there are a lot of exclamation points in this piece –
perhaps the triple latte with the caffeinated tea chaser was not a good idea….)
