So, on Saturday, Sarah and I were at Starbucks busily knitting Christmas gifts.  We were there for 2 hours (it was out Saturday Afternoon Knit-Out).  As we were about to leave, a woman came up to us and said:

"I told my husband that next year I am going to be so ahead that I can sit at Starbucks and knit!"

I had no words. Sarah had no words. We just smiled and nodded.

As for my Christmas knitting status: 

1) We completed and mailed the last of a certain set of gifts today. Hooray!

2) The llama body is done, as are all four legs — I am working on the head tonight.

3) I am feeling particularly hopeful about another project as I am in the home stretch (and it is a particularly garter-ish stretch).

4) Have not yet begun the duck.
