I am super proud of how well it turned out!

Christmas 003

Gwen loves her "guck"!  I finished it Christmas morning and was wrapping it as they drove up to the house! I had finished knitting all the pieces at Sonja's house Christmas Eve.  Then sewed them together while waiting in the car for AAA when we had a flat tire after Midnight Mass (yeah — kind of a late night! there was a mixup with the repair truck and then it got stuck in traffic because of an accident and about 2:20 am we decided to put on the spare ourselves and got home about 3:00, in bed about 4:30….but it was one of those hey-ya-just-gotta-laugh-about-it situations — George, Sasha, Geoff and I eating Chirsmas cookies and listening to the Neil Diamond Christmas CD in the car in the church parking lot in the middle of the night on Christmas…!).

I have to get some more pictures taken to finish the show — so look for those later this week!

The llama and duck are absolutely adorable! You did a very good job on both – but especially the llama which looks true to the picture on the book.
