So, here are the photos of the current grandbaby knitting projects I promised, oh, about a week ago.

Grandbaby Knitting 001

The Eskimo Cocoon for Owen (I call mine the Lumberjack Pod!) is done and ready for the baby — we are ALL ready for the baby!  Could be any day now…

Grandbaby Knitting 008

Owen's Yzma Blanket is not yet done (and this photo does not really show the patterning very well, I'm afraid — the lower section is cable chunks and the upper is sort of square spirals).

Grandbaby Knitting 005

Max's jacket is looking pretty spectacular — first sleeve well on its way to completion.

Grandbaby Knitting 002

Gwen's matching jumper — front & back of skirt are done.  Next comes the Fair Isle patterned suspenders.

Grandbaby Knitting 010

I am terribly proud of Gwen's sock!  It is my own design and involved fitting from the knee, down to the ankle, through the foot — with two lace patterns and the shaping to fit the varying girths of calf, ankle & foot.  And my dear little Gwen refused to let us try it on her while it was in process!

Grandbaby Knitting 011

It fits perfectly!!!  I am soooo happy!

Grandbaby Knitting 013

Okay, what kind of a grandmother would I be if I didn't slip in the occasional grandchild photo!

Now that the lumberjack pod is done I guess Owen can make his appearance!
