This is a week for completing projects — and it feels great!
Today I sent 4 knitted pieces to Sasha in Elko. She had commissioned me to design and knit a sweater for a friend’s new baby. And The Leafy Kimono was born! The leaf patterned skirt suggested a matching hat, of course. Sarah and I are so happy with it that we will be writing it up as a PFA pattern. In fact, we are planning 2 other similar kimonos (and hats!) using different motifs.
The Elko baby has a big sister — so Sasha asked for a little gift for her as well. A pink headband with flowers seemed in order.
And a “just to make you smile”gift for Sasha: an adorable armadillo.
