I am still having way too much fun crocheting! (Am still knitting too — don’t worry about that!)
My flower coasters are ridiculously cheery. Love them!
The tiara I crocheted and beaded for Sarah arrive in North Carolina today. That was the surprise crochet project of which I could not speak. Gwen (nearly 5 yrs old) asked me a couple of weeks ago (leaning in and whispering via FaceTime) “Can you make a tiara for my Mom?” And of course I said yes! Gwen wanted it to be a surprise — and she checked in with me from time to time to see how it was coming along. Both Sarah and Gwen were quite pleased with the tiara — I am delighted to report. Of course how could they not love a lacy sparkly tiara with purple and silver beads?
Now, I seem to be crocheting a Viking helmet for 2 1/2 year old Owen — who is much taken with the movie “How To Train Your Dragon.” He likes wearing hats, so I think he will be pleased.
